Thanks to its expertise and high-level partners, Ceeja has become a key player in the development and management of innovative tourism projects between Alsace and Japan.


In 2020, the CEEJA contributed to the launch of the first regional Christmas markets in Japan and prepared the start of future major tourism projects "Club Tourism International Inc."


    In September 2019, CEEJA hosted delegations from All Nippon Airways (ANA), Club Tourism International Inc. and Onsen Gastronomy Tourism Association. Following this meeting, Club Tourism International Inc. decided to place Alsace at the top of the destinations, as soon as the health crisis ended, by setting up an innovative and unique tourist circuit, with the aim of making people discover Alsace. to a varied Japanese clientele of 7 million customers, in particular through participation in a gourmet walk and exchanges with local producers. These tourist stays will begin from 2022 in cooperation with the CEEJA and the ADT (Alsace Destination Tourisme).


    In addition, Club Tourism International Inc. is working on a direct charter project between EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse and Japan (under discussion for 2022), which would lead to the creation of additional stays. "TV Tôkyô" will organize a report in the presence of a Japanese television star as soon as possible, when the first groups of tourists arrive.


    While waiting for the recovery of the tourism sector, the CEEJA will give an online conference in Japanese on July 16, 2021 live from Alsace with TV Tôkyô to make a first communication launch in Japan and highlight the new projects of Club Tourism International. Inc. / ANA in Alsace. This conference will be given in partnership with the ADT and will be open to Japanese tourism professionals as well as the media and local Japanese communities.


    In December 2020, the CEEJA organized the first Alsatian Christmas markets in Japanese partner regions of Alsace. This first edition organized in Takayama and Aizu Wakamatsu, in cooperation with Onsen Gastronomy and the ADT was a success and will be developed in 2021. The City of Strasbourg is studying the possibility of creating, as a result, a Christmas market in Kagoshima, its partner city in Japan.
